Other Ways You Can Support DecadesOut:

  • Matching Gift Programs: Does the company you work for have a matching gift program? Many large corporations support their employees support of non-profit organizations by matching your gift with a gift of their own. In other words, if you donate $100, your company will donate $100 as well.
  • In-Kind Donations: Running a non-profit is like running any other company. We need equipment (computers, office furniture, etc.) and professional services providers (accountants, bookkeepers, lawyers, web designers, sales & marketing teams) to help us run efficiently while we focus on our primary mission. If you or anyone you know has something they'd like to donate or has professional experience they'd like to share, please let us know. Every bit helps.
  • Volunteer: As we plan our programs and move forward, we are always looking for creative, motivated people who want to learn about theatre and film production. Even if you have only a few hours to spare to help research some interesting topics, offer your time on camera or sound, Contact Us and tell us a little bit about yourself.

What is a Fiscal Sponsor?

A Fiscal Sponsor is a non-profit organization with 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service that acts as a guardian of grants and donations for a Project that does not have 501(c)(3) designation.

A Fiscal Sponsor is necessary for one good reason: funders rarely (if ever) make donations to anyone without 501(c)(3) status. That’s because tax-exempt status, like incorporation, bylaws and other formal designations, inspires confidence in potential donors and funders. It demonstrates that the organization has a legitimate charitable purpose, has a structure for accomplishing its goals, and is accountable to the public.

We are proud to have Fractured Atlas as our Fiscal Sponsor in the donation process while our 501(c)3 status is pending.

Who is Fractured Atlas?

Fractured Atlas is a non-profit organization that serves a national community of artists and arts organizations. They help artists and arts organizations function more effectively as businesses by providing access to funding, healthcare, education,.
